I acknowledge each person as a multifaceted, unique being.

With this in mind, I welcome all experiences you may bring into the

therapy room.

Therapy can be a powerful experience which can help you gain insight into yourself, deeper your connection with yourself and others, and live with a sense of harmony within yourself.

I have experience working with a wide range of psychological and emotional issues. As a highly trained psychotherapist,  I have particular expertise dealing with issues of identity, sense of self, and adverse childhood experiences, such as developmental trauma.

  • Relationship challenges and relationship breakdown
  • Childhood adverse events (CAE) such as abuse and neglect
  • Developmental and chronic trauma
  • Issues of power, oppression and privilege
  • Cultural identity and issues of belonging
  • Issues of sense of self
  • Difficulty relating to others
  • Issues of self-esteem
  • Mood swings
  • Shame
  • Grief and loss in its many forms
  • Emotional impact of physical health conditions
  • Repeating patterns of behaving, feeling and thinking
  • Sense of lack of purpose or lack of direction
  • Sense of emptiness and meaninglessness

Where to begin

Please get in touch through the contact box below, email or call me on the number provided. We can then arrange an initial session to get to know each other, discuss whether the support I offer would be useful to you, and to address any concerns you may have about therapy.

Therapy is a very private and personal experience. All discussions with your therapist are handled sensitively and are confidential.

Initial phone call

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so that we can discuss your reasons for reaching out. I might or might not be the right practitioner for you however I will do my best to point you out in the right direction. If we decide to work together, the next step is scheduling your initial session.

Consultation session

At our initial session, we will further discuss the issues that are of concern to you, your hopes and expectations regarding therapy, and how we will work together. We will also discuss confidentiality and go over any questions you might have.

This first meeting might help you get a sense of who I am as a person and experience what our time together will be like. I believe that it is important that you find a therapist that you feel at ease with, who you get the sense of being able to trust and build a relationship with over time. There is no obligation to continue after this first meeting.

Following sessions

If you decide to schedule more sessions, we will meet at a mutually agreed time and day, each week, for 50 mins. There is no specific number of sessions that you need to commit to.  This is something that we will continue discussing as we go along.

I work both short (six sessions +) and long term open-ended. Depending on your needs and expectations, we will work together for an agreed amount of time and review our work periodically.

Please fill out the contact form below and I will get in touch with you as soon as I can.

My location

My private practice is located in East London (E17, E11, E10). Currently all sessions are delivered online. I plan to resume ‘in person’ therapy in November 2021.

Online Counselling & Psychotherapy

I provide both short and long-term online counselling in English as well as in Polish to clients in the UK and around the world.

While online therapy may not be suitable for everyone, many people feel that technology allows counselling or psychotherapy sessions that would not be possible otherwise.

Online therapy requires a reliable internet connection as well as a private, quiet space in which to meet with your therapist online. Your online counselling sessions will be held weekly, by appointment. At the time of booking your Zoom consultation I will provide you with the Zoom link. Your online sessions will be delivered in a private, secure room maintaining the same standards of privacy and confidentiality as in personal face to face therapy.

It is important to be aware that the use of third party online services and holding counselling sessions outside a controlled space may have implications for confidentiality.

You might have other questions about what talking therapy can help with. If you would like to explore how psychotherapy or counselling might help, please get in touch to make your first appointment.
